The loaf
Banana bread. Yup. Small loaves now. Plain, or chocolate chip. $8 each.
What's inside
The whole loaf, in plain English. If it isn't on this list, it isn't in the bread.
Ripe bananas
Fun fact: monkeys rarely eat bananas, and when they do is considered more of a treat. Who knew?!
Butter
Worked into the batter so the crumb stays soft.
Eggs
They hold it together.
Sugar
White sugar in the batter, a little brown sugar for the top.
Flour
Plain all-purpose flour.
Baking soda
So the loaf rises.
Salt
A pinch, so it doesn't taste flat.
Vanilla
A splash. You smell it more than you see it.
Chocolate chips
Only in the chocolate chip loaf. The plain one stays plain.

About me
I'm Allison.
We live in Georgetown. I bake banana bread in our kitchen, and I leave it on the porch. Saturday. That's the rhythm.
People kept asking for a loaf, so this is The Banana Bread Stand. Small loaves. Plain, or chocolate chip. If you want some, tell me how many and pay on Venmo. I'll have them out Saturday by 4.
The pictures are just me, when I'm not in the kitchen. Usually there's a baby involved. The bread is the part you came for.
